The Americanism Award is the most distinguished award that the winning Detachment can obtain that shows their hard work and Esprit de Corps. As the "Marine of the Year" is the most prestigious award for an individual member, so is an Americanism Award for the Detachment. It exemplifies the dedication and contribution to the strength and integrity of our beloved Marine Corps League and is dedicated to all the members of the winning Detachment. To have received this award is certainly an achievement to be proudly treasured by those that receive this honorable recognition.
